As the holiday season wraps our community in warmth and wonder, we’re reminded of the simple joys that define childhood—laughter, play, adventure, and dreams. But for too many children in our community, those joys are often interrupted by serious illness, complex medical needs, and daily challenges beyond what most of us can imagine.

At the Guelph Wish Fund for Children, our mission is to restore those joys—if only for a moment—by granting wishes that bring hope, comfort, and lasting memories to children who need them most.

Some wish for healing experiences—a therapy dog visit, adaptive equipment, or a quiet escape with family. Others dream of backyard spaces to play safely, a treasured toy, or the chance to meet someone special. All wishes have one thing in common: they bring light during the darkest times.

This year, more children than ever have been referred to us for wishes. And we never want to say “no.” That’s why this holiday season, we’re inviting you to give the most meaningful gift of all: the gift of a wish.
