How you can Help
You can help by donating to us directly, by attending or sponsoring one of our fundraising events, hosting a fundraiser on our behalf, or by volunteering in some capacity. We also welcome new referrals at any time.
When the need and ability arise, the Guelph Wish Fund for Children may also partner and provide support to other local charities that clearly support our mandate (and our wish kids!). We also support local scholarships to deserving high school graduates.
Host a fundraiser
We have been providing ‘wishes’ and support to children for over 35 years; now you can too! By hosting an independent fundraiser in support of the Guelph Wish Fund for Children, you too can help grant a wish.
Throw a backyard BBQ, put together a sporting event - the possibilities are endless and you can fundraise your way! Choose how you want to help or join a movement of fundraisers supporting our mission of making life a little happier for our wish families.

If you would like to host an Independent Fundraising Event to support the Guelph Wish Fund for Children, please complete and submit this Third-Party Event Proposal Form, for approval 30 days prior to your event.

Make a donation
Since its founding in 1984 the Guelph Wish Fund for Children has been supported generously by local businesses and corporations, but also by hundreds of individuals, including many memorial tributes. Except for the small administrative costs and the salaries of three part-time employees, all of the monies raised go directly to supporting our Wish Kids and our other programs.

Donations may be dollars, but can transform into making a child a little happier. If you would like to make a donation, click here or mail your contribution to Guelph Wish Fund for Children, 35 Harvard Road, PO. Box 21032, Guelph, ON N1G 3A2. Charitable tax receipts will be issued for any donation of $20 or more.
Volunteer
Our vision is to provide hope, strength and joy to children and their families during a very difficult time. We partner with our community, our tireless volunteers, and the generosity of many individuals, groups and businesses, to provide a special experience or family necessities to all deserving children who are facing a significant or life-altering disease, injury or medical challenge in our community.
