A Summer of Wishes: Golf & Auction Raise Support for Local Children

This June, our community came together in two powerful ways—on the greens and online—and the results were both meaningful and inspiring.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, the Guelph Wish Fund for Children’s 5th Annual Online Auction and 37th Annual Golf Tournament raised enough funds to grant nearly seven life-changing wishes for local children facing significant medical challenges.

5th Annual Online Auction – Bidding with Purpose

Running from June 5 to 15, our online auction brought together supporters from across the region who bid on over 100 items donated by generous businesses, individuals, and partners. From local getaways and experiences to unique artwork, gifts, and services, there was something for everyone—and every bid helped make a difference.

We are grateful to our donors and auction contributors for providing such a diverse and exciting selection of items. Their generosity made it possible for us to raise critical funds to support our wish program and expand our impact.

37th Annual Golf Tournament – A Day on the Green

Held on Friday, June 13 at Victoria Park East Golf Club, this year’s tournament welcomed a sold-out roster of golfers for a full day of sport, community, and philanthropy. Participants enjoyed lunch, food on the course, raffles, prizes, and an informal reception to wrap up the day.

As always, the heart of the tournament was its purpose—supporting children and families in our community. Several Wish Families joined us at the event to share their stories and personally thank our golfers and sponsors, offering a meaningful reminder of the impact of every contribution.
