Peter Baldasso joined The Guelph Wish Fund for Children as a Director in 2005. Originally from Guelph, Peter’s family operated a Greenhouse on Elizabeth Street for over 30 years. This exposure to business and the community proved to be instrumental in Peter’s ultimate career path.

For 36 years Peter was an accomplished employee with TD Canada Trust, starting his career in downtown Guelph and retiring in 2009 as Branch Manager in Fergus. Along the way Peter had the opportunity to work in 8 different communities, volunteering his time and energy in each one.

Currently retired from the bank, Peter still has the quest for giving back to the community. Having experienced first-hand the challenges families can have with severely ill children, Peter’s goal is to continue to grow the Guelph Wish Fund so it may support and fulfill the needs of many of our local children and their families.
